PLSA comments on the authorisation of Clara

The Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association (PLSA) comments on the authorisation of superfund Clara.
Joe Dabrowski, Deputy Director of Policy, PLSA, said: “TPR’s
‘authorisation‘ of Clara today marks an important milestone in the formation of
the Superfunds market and provides fresh options for schemes and employers to
secure benefits for their members.
“Superfunds were first proposed by the PLSA-led DB Taskforce back in 2017,
and the concept has been championed by the Minister for Pensions, Guy Opperman,
for several years.”
