DB Taskforce – Call for Evidence closes

The PLSA’s DB Taskforce has been working hard exploring the challenges facing DB schemes and how we best evidence these. The Taskforce’s Call for Evidence closed on Friday 15 July and we received a significant number of responses from a wide range of individuals and organisations. If anyone has a burning desire to send in further thoughts and evidence please do so to [email protected].
The Taskforce is currently assessing consultation responses, and continues to meet with interested stakeholders, and review relevant research and evidence to develop its thinking. This work will inform the Interim Report, which we plan to publish at the PLSA’s Annual Conference and Exhibition which takes place in Liverpool from 19-21 October. This report will see out the state of DB as the Taskforce sees it and suggest areas for further exploration. The plan is then to develop a series of concrete proposals to put Government, Regulators and the Industry at large at our Investment Conference in March 2017.
