Treating DC scheme members fairly?, sponsored by the NAPF and the Pensions Institute, is an investigation into current practice around governance at retirement and the operation of the annuities market, and makes a number of recommendations for reform. The research consulted with around 90 organisations, including a number of NAPF members and around 80% of the major pension scheme and annuity providers. It will be fed into the Government’s OMO Review Working Group and has informed the NAPF’s response to the ABI consultation on Consumers in the Retirement Income Market.
