TPR’s Consultation on the Code of Practice (CoP) 12: Contribution Notices

In May 2021, the Pensions Regulator (TPR) issued a consultation  focused on the revised version of Code 12: Contrbution Notices - Circumstances in relation to the material detriment test, the employer insolvency test and the employer resources test. 

The PLSA is supportive of the objectives of the new employer tests, and about TPR’s new powers more generally. However, we ask for clarity within the guidance and to help schemes to mitigate against unintended consequences.
