NAPF response to EIOPA sponsor support
EIOPA is still pressing ahead with its policy development work on the Holistic Balance Sheet. In its response to EIOPA’s latest discussion paper on measurement of sponsor support – a key element of the Holistic Balance Sheet – the NAPF argued that EIOPA had the wrong priorities.
The NAPF argued that EIOPA should instead be advising the European Commission on how to extend workplace retirement saving to the 60 per cent of EU citizens who have no access to it at the moment.
