LGPS 2014 and 2008 scheme amending regulations consultation: Part A: LGPS regulations 2013 – An NAPF response
The NAPF has responded to the Government’s latest consultation on the draft regulations for the new Local Government Pension Scheme, which comes into effect in April 2014. In the response we provided LA members views on a number of outstanding policy questions and raised our concern that there are a number of outstanding policy issues which still need resolving and are critical to the Scheme being in place next year. Regulations governing these areas need to be published as soon as possible to ensure that funds have sufficient time to put everything in place for April 2014.
