The NAPF has responded to ‘The Occupational and Personal Pension Schemes (Disclosure of Information) (Amendment) Regulations 2015’, a DWP consultation considering a number of technical amendments to scheme disclosure regulations in light of the Public Service Pension Scheme Act 2013 and Treasury Directions2014. We broadly agree with the recommended amendments, except for those proposed to exempt public service pension schemes from Regulation 16, which we argue may diminish scheme member entitlements to request information regarding their benefits.
