As the debate over small pots and transfers continues, the NAPF has taken a balanced look at the polling evidence on automatic transfers.

Polling conducted by the NAPF showed that consumers are concerned about the quality of schemes into which their pots could be automatically transferred. Ultimately, however, the different sets of research have produced very different results. This suggests we may need to conduct more qualitative research before we can draw any firm conclusions about what is best for consumers.
