Top journalists and economists join PLSA’s Annual Conference speakers programme

We are pleased to welcome a distinguished group of speakers to our Annual Conference & Exhibition 2018: Understanding saver perspectives, taking place in Liverpool from 17-19 October.
Keynote speakers include:
- Andrew Marr, the noted broadcaster and author discussing the direction of travel for the UK’s EU exit.
- Economist and author Noreena Hertz introducing the next generation of UK savers, dubbed Generation K, after the Hunger Games’ heroine Katniss Everdeen.
- Rt Hon Lord David Willetts, executive chair of the Resolution Foundation explaining the final report of the Intergenerational Commission on how pensions savings can be part of the solution to creating a fairer intergenerational scenario for the nation.
- Matthew Syed, Times columnist and bestselling author of ‘Black Box Thinking’, explaining how fostering a growth mindset in savers will improve the state of pensions engagement.
