Future PLSA conference dates now available

Together, we welcomed more than 1,100 delegates, and heard from over 150 speakers, providing 50 hours of superb content. Across each 2.5-day conference, delegates attended a range of sessions from panel discussions, presentations, roundtables, peer to peer exchanges, to case studies and insights. Our members gained knowledge, shared expertise and met new contacts.

Although the events team has been busy this year in preparing, planning and running the conferences, alongside webinars, forums and training, we have also started to plan for next year and beyond. I am pleased to announce that the following dates have been confirmed for the Investment, Local Authority and Annual Conferences.

I am especially pleased with the new dates for the Investment Conference over the next couple of years. Taking the conference back to its regular slot in March. Next year will be a few weeks earlier at the end of February, but then the conference is properly settled back into its March date from 2025 onwards. March is a preferred time of year for our members and more cost effective when travelling and booking accommodation. And with the new format of 2.5 days for each conference, starting at lunchtime on the first day and finishing early afternoon on the final day, I hope this makes planning your travel easier and ensures less time out of the office.

I urge you to save the dates and make a note of them, especially when planning your upcoming board and committee meetings. In fact, why not hold a trustee meeting at one of our conferences? New for 2024, the PLSA is offering space for trustees to hold their meetings on the morning of the first day at each Investment and Annual Conferences.
