‘Targeted Support’ and the Advice Guidance Boundary Review

The FCA’s consultation on a new way of helping savers at retirement

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is consulting on a new form of ‘targeted support’ to help savers make good decisions about how to use, and in some cases, strengthen their pensions. ‘Targeted support’ would fill the gap between fully personalised advice and the more generic information that is available from Pension Wise and other free resources. It would prompt individuals when ‘people like them’ might benefit from a certain financial action.

This Policy Insights Webinar is your opportunity to hear directly from the FCA about the direction of their thinking and to put your questions and feedback to them. You will also hear the PLSA’s own perspective, including what ‘targeted support’ could mean for trustees, who fall outside of FCA remit, and gain an understanding of the FCA’s next steps and the practical implications for schemes.

Register your place to join this live webinar on 23 January at 11:00.
