Pensions Policy Summit

Shaping the future of UK pensions policy

Pensions are once again at the forefront of political discourse. A two-part pensions review is underway and there are big questions on the role schemes can play in growing the UK economy and how to improve retirement adequacy. Plus, Labour’s first Budget in 14 years has been announced. Join us for the Pensions Policy Summit, where we will explore the UK Government’s plans for the pensions industry.

The programme includes:

  • The Pensions Review – the Government has launched a two-part pensions review, with phase one aiming to boost investment, increase returns for savers, and tackle waste, we hear an update on its progress
  • The Pension Schemes Bill – hear more about the Pension Schemes Bill, covering value for money, decumulation, small pots and superfunds
  • Pensions in Parliament - hear from the decision makers in Parliament and beyond for a summary of how pensions policy changes might impact the industry
  • The Budget – an assessment of the Chancellor’s first Budget and the impact it could have on pension schemes
  • Feeding the economy – discover how the money invested by pension schemes is used to feed the economy and generate growth

This autumn, the PLSA’s Pensions Policy Summit brings together political commentators, policymakers and the pensions industry to set out the future of pensions policy under the Labour Government.

Join us in Westminster as we discuss the future of pensions policy and hear directly from those who influence it.
