Explore the new networking opportunities and wellbeing programme below, designed to offer an engaging and enriching experience.

Networking opportunities

Connect with peers at the variety of networking opportunities at this year’s conference. With new opportunities to connect, in a relaxed setting, flexible facilities and plenty of seating areas. Ideal to make new connections and catch up with peers and friends

Before you arrive:

Visit the delegate hub in the PLSA member area to share thoughts and questions with the PLSA team and other delegates. The hub will be live in May.

Connect with delegates before you arrive at the conference via the PLSA Events app, where you can make connections and arrange meetings in advance – as well as build your personalised agenda. Download the app from Monday 2 June.

Morning run:

Start the Tuesday by exploring the beautiful Wyboston Lakes with a morning run or walk led by the PLSA team, a new addition to this year’s programme. Soak up the scenery and connect with peers along the way. All abilities welcome.

Golf, outdoor games and driving range:

New to the programme for 2025, more ways to connect with fellow delegates at this year’s conference. Enjoy 9 holes of golf before the conference begins on Monday morning. An ideal opportunity to network, enjoying the stunning, rural countryside of Wyboston Lakes, alongside the banks of the Great River Ouse.

On Tuesday afternoon, play outdoor games on the meadow with lawn croquet, giant quoits, Jenga and Connect 4. You can also have a go at beating the course pro or have a friendly game at the driving range, Pinseekers.

Conference dinner:

Taking place on the first evening of the conference, enjoy an evening of networking, food, refreshments and entertainment at our exclusive conference dinner.

Summer social:

New to the programme for 2025, on the Tuesday evening, enjoy the Summer Social in the courtyard at the centre of the venue for an evening of live entertainment, relaxed dining with street-style food, glowing fire pits, festoon lights, and a buzzing atmosphere. Winners from the Tuesday games will also be announced.

Wellbeing initiatives

We want delegates to benefit from both knowledge sharing and a focus on wellbeing. This year, we are including new initiatives to integrate wellbeing into the conference programme.

Nature walks:

Discover the local flora and fauna of Begwary Brook, the nature reserve only a few minutes’ walk from Wyboston Lakes Resort.

Led by expert guides from the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire, explore the hidden world of nature, breathe in the fresh air, and network along the way. There will be two walks to choose from.

Wellbeing:

Breathwork and chair yoga sessions have been added to the programme at key times to boost productivity and overall wellbeing.
