Investment Conference 2025 | 11-13 March | EICC, Edinburgh

Experience

This year, we're combining unparalleled networking opportunities with a  new wellbeing programme to ensure you leave feeling both connected and revitalised. From welcome receptions and conference dinners to guided city tours, our conference is designed to offer an engaging and balanced experience for all attendees.

Networking Opportunities

Join professionals from across the pensions world, including leaders from pension funds, asset managers, investment banks, consultants, and government. With numerous networking opportunities available, you'll find the perfect occasions to expand your network and exchange ideas.

In 2024, 91% of our delegates rated the ability to connect with exhibitors and sponsors as excellent or good.

Before you arrive:

Visit the delegate hub in the PLSA member area to share thoughts and questions with the PLSA team and other delegates. The hub will be live in early February.
Start to connect with delegates before arriving at the conference via the PLSA Events app, where you can make connections and arrange meetings in advance. Download the app from Tuesday 25 February.

Welcome Drinks Reception:

As the sessions close on the conference's opening day, the welcome drinks reception in the exhibition hall provides the perfect way to network and unwind while exploring what our exhibitors have to offer. Open to all registered delegates.

Morning Run and Walk:

Start each conference morning  by exploring beautiful Edinburgh with a morning run or walk led by James Walsh, Head of Membership Engagement, and fellow PLSA staff, and new for 2025, enjoy an Invisible Cities walking tour. Soak up the scenery, history and connect with peers along the way.

Conference Dinner:

Enjoy an evening of networking, food, drinks, and entertainment at our exclusive conference dinner. This semi-formal event features an after-dinner talk by Fraser Nelson, columnist for The Daily Telegraph and former editor of The Spectator. Pre-registration is essential. (Select the option when registering for the conference or email [email protected] to add to an existing booking.)

Wellbeing Initiatives

We want delegates to benefit from both knowledge sharing and a focus on their wellbeing. This year, we are launching new initiatives to integrate wellbeing into the programme.

Walking Tours:

Discover Edinburgh through two unique walking tours hosted by Invisible Cities, a social enterprise that trains individuals who have experienced homelessness to become tour guides. These award-winning tours blend history, social insights, and personal stories, offering a fresh perspective on the city. Taking place on Wednesday and Thursday in Edinburgh's old town, the tours provide meaningful connections with the city's heritage and community.

Conference Run:

Our popular conference run will now take place on both Wednesday and Thursday mornings, showcasing the beauty of Edinburgh while promoting physical activity. All fitness abilities welcome, with an option to walk.

Neuroinclusion, Mental and Physical Wellbeing:

We are working with EventWell to provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. EventWell is providing a sensory calm room, enhancing neuroinclusion and mental wellbeing, and a multi-faith and prayer space for peaceful reflection. We are also offering breathwork and yoga sessions to boost productivity and alleviate mental and physical fatigue.

About EventWell: EventWell is a pioneering, neurodivergent-led not-for-profit organisation dedicated to making events accessible and inclusive for neurodivergent and disabled individuals.
